World Gig Rowing Championships, Isles of Scilly

The Isles of Scilly host the World Pilot Gig Championships where crews compete for the title of World Champions. Gig rowing teams from across Cornwall and around the world gather on the beautiful Isles of Scilly, lying 28 miles off the coast of Land’s End . There are multiple races that take place over the weekend, of varying distance. A colourful, energetic and very friendly event.
