How do I book?

You can check availability and prices and then book your self catering holiday accommodation or camping pitch at Beachside Holiday Park online. Our secure online booking system accepts credit and debit card payments in a secure manner by using SagePay, our external payments provider. We do not see or store any of the payment information you enter into the booking system. SagePay provides a secure payment gateway (Level 1 PCI DSS), processing payments for thousands of online businesses, including ours. Further details can be found on SagePay’s website by clicking here. So when booking your holiday through our site, you can be sure that you are completely protected.

The booking situation changes by the hour, if you do not wish to book your holiday online we will always welcome your call. Please check availability and prices prior to making a provisional telephone booking on 01736 753080 and we will hold your holiday booking for five days, until we receive your booking form.

Please complete the form and post it to us with a deposit of £100 per booking for accommodation or £50 per booking for touring/camping. When we receive your booking form and deposit we will send a receipt and confirmation which will show the balance payment and when it is due.

What are your check-in days for accommodation?

During peak season, our changeover days for chalets plus are Saturday or Friday. For all other accommodation, bookings are taken from Saturday to Saturday.

Outside of peak season, we welcome short breaks and can be more flexible to meet your requirements. Please check availability online or call us on 01736 753080 and a member of our team will be happy to help.

Should I take out the cancellation plan?

We strongly recommend that you take out the cancellation plan. Our cancellation plan means that if you are forced to cancel your holiday through ill health or any of the other reasons specified (details can be seen here) you will not lose your accommodation deposit or balance payment. The cost is £20 per unit per week and should be added to your deposit at the time of booking.

Can I book a specific unit/pitch number online?

Unfortunately our online booking system does not allow you to reserve a specific unit or pitch online. However, if you would like to request a unit or pitch number then please enter this into the special requirements box when making your online booking and we will allocate the nearest possible when processing your booking.

Is Beachside suitable for wheelchairs?

We do have some steep gradients and steps, so wheelchair users and people with special mobility needs should contact Beachside before bookings and details must be included on the booking form, so that we can advise on the most suitable accommodation.

How long do you keep a telephone booking?

We keep provisional telephone bookings for five days.

When can I arrive at Beachside Holiday Park?

Your keys for your self catering accommodation will be available from 4pm. Touring and camping pitches are available from 2pm.

2nd May to 2nd October 2020 10.00pm latest time of arrival
3rd October to 30th October 2020 6.00pm latest time of arrival

What time am I required to leave by?

We request that your accommodation or pitch be vacant by 10am on your day of departure to allow us to prepare for the next arrivals.

Is electricity included in the price?

In our Chalets and Chalets Plus you pay for the electricity that you use via a pre-payment meter. Credit is available from the Beachside Holiday Park reception on arrival. The rate is very reasonable and typically costs between £5-£10 per week, depending on your usage.

In all other types of accommodation electricity is included in the cost of your holiday.

Is the accommodation non-smoking?

Yes, for the benefit of all our guests, all our accommodation is non-smoking.

Will the park facilities be open early & late season?

Coast, our new kitchen-bar-terrace opens from May 16th* to October 30th 2020. There is Entertainment several evenings a week during spring bank holiday week and between July 11th and August 28th 2020.

The shop and swimming pool open from May 2nd to October 2nd 2020. Beach Shack Surf School is open from May 23rd to September 18th 2020.

Can I take children in the bar ?

Children are welcome in our bar’s family area as long they are accompanied by an adult.

Do I need to bring linen and bedding?

A linen pack is supplied and included in the self catering accommodation hire charge, for you to make your beds on arrival. Please bring your own towels and tea towels.

How do I pay my balance payment?

Please note that your balance payment is due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday (without a reminder from us). Please call us on 01736 753080 to pay by credit or debit card over the phone, or send us a cheque made payable to Beachside Leisure Holidays Ltd, with your booking reference number written on the reverse.

When can I make a booking for 2021?

We will start to take provisional bookings for 2021 around Easter 2020. Please give us a call on 01736 753080 to make a provisional booking, or drop into reception while you are staying with us. Unfortunately provisional bookings cannot be made online.

Can young children use the swimming pool?

Young children are welcome in the swimming pool but all children under 15 years must be supervised by an adult.

Are dogs allowed?

To maintain a healthy environment, particularly for children, we do not allow dogs at Beachside Holiday Park.

How far is it to St Ives?

By car, St Ives is about 20 minutes away from Beachside Holiday Park. There is a bus service that passes the entrance of the holiday park two or three times a day depending on the time of year.

Where can I park my car?

There is one parking space per unit of self catering accommodation and touring pitch. Additional cars may be parked at the Beachside Holiday Park main car park.

Is Beachside close to the beach?

Yes. Our holiday park is right beside the beach with our own access path down onto the golden sands of St Ives Bay.
