Coronavirus Update

Following the Government restriction against all non-essential travel, in March we took the difficult decision to postpone our opening for 2020. We took advice from the government and felt this was the responsible thing to do, to protect our customers, staff, local NHS and local community. We are now unfortunately unable to open until 4^th July 2020 at the earliest.

If you have a booking with us during the time that we are closed, we will be in touch with you to transfer your booking to a later date. As an independent family-run business we value your custom and will be able to transfer your booking so that we can welcome you later this year, or next year. We are postponing the date at which your balance payment is due for July holidays – this will now become due when we send you an email reminder.

Thank you for your patience while waiting for us to get back to your messages. Please note that our office is currently closed until further notice. We have limited staff working from home replying to your emails and voicemail messages and it might take longer than we would like to reply. If you need to contact us, please email reception@beachside.co.uk and we will reply as soon as we can.

We are making preparations to open Beachside as soon as we can, but are aware that government advice and social distancing recommendations means that some of our on-site facilities may be closed or have limited opening for this year.

Our new restaurant and bar, Coast, and our new soft play area were due to open in May 2020 but as a result of the current Coronavirus restrictions we have no option but to delay the opening. We will confirm the opening date once we have a better idea when construction will be complete and government restrictions on bars and restaurants is lifted.

If you want to make a provisional booking for 2021, we will begin to take provisional bookings on a rolling basis starting with April 2021 available to book from May 2020. This is to allow us to re-book those existing bookings that are affected by this year’s closure. To make a provisional booking for 2021, please email reception@beachside.co.uk.
