New for 2026: Welcoming Dogs to Beachside Holiday Park

For nearly 65 years, we have taken great pride in providing a relaxing environment for all our guests to enjoy their holidays with us. Many of you have been visiting for years — even decades — and we are so grateful for your continued custom and friendship.

From 2026, we’ll be introducing a new chapter in our park’s story: we’ll be welcoming well-behaved dogs for the first time in several decades. We know this is a significant change, and we want to explain how it will work and reassure you that the atmosphere you know and love will remain at the heart of everything we do.

Whether you are travelling as a couple or family, Cornwall is the perfect holiday destination to bring your dog. Explore picturesque nearby towns and villages, unique local shops and restaurants, or explore the miles of south west coastal footpath. Beachside is ideally situated to make the most of Cornwall with your four-legged friend – especially with walks on the surrounding sand dunes and three-mile, dog-friendly sandy beach.

To ensure everyone enjoys their stay at Beachside:

  • o We are able to welcome up to two dogs per booking.
  • o There will be a dedicated dog exercise area at the top of the park, along with easy access to wonderful walks on the beach, southwest coastal footpath and sand dunes nearby.
  • o Well-behaved dogs will be welcome in designated areas of Coast, our family restaurant & bar, but not in the swimming pool area, toilet & shower block, games room, or children’s playgrounds.
  • o Dogs must be kept on a short lead while walking around the park and on the green at the front.
  • o Dogs must not be left unaccompanied in your accommodation or on your pitch.
  • o We cannot accept dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.

Dogs will be welcome in selected chalets, bungalows, apartments, accessible apartments and dune lodges. We will also have dog-friendly touring pitches and large tent pitches. There will be an additional charge of £50 per dog per week for accommodation and £5 per dog per night for touring pitches.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to Beachside soon — and perhaps to meet a few new four-legged friends along the way.
