Shore provide everything you’ll need for your surf lessons including boards and wetsuits. If you fancy a change of scenery, the school even has a ‘surf bus’ that will pick you up from Beachside free of charge and take you to a selection of Cornwall’s best surf spots.

Gwithian Academy of Surfing, St Ives Bay

Gwithian Academy provides lessons in bodyboarding as well as surfing and is one of only four surf schools in Europe to be a British Surfing Association Centre of Excellence.

Safe surf lessons with qualified surf schools when you stay at Beachside Holiday Park in Cornwall, camping and self catering holiday accommodation in St Ives Bay Sunset Surf School offers a good choice of surf lessons and courses, including stand-up paddle boarding and one-to-one surfing tuition. Equipment is provided free of charge and Sunset has full changing facilities.

The surf school is based next to the beach at Gwithian, at the far end of St Ives Bay. Each lesson also includes a well-earned hot or cold drink from the neighbouring Sunset Surf Café/Bar.
